Be Mine SuperStar is the series that will help push JaFirst’s ship further into the BL firmament! While Ja Phachara and First Chalongrat have been cast in leading roles, there still is the need for a spotlight project that will showcase their talents as a top-tier BL couple, and it’s about time!

JaFirst visual is always leveled up. They both look like authentic actors – they have a strong on-screen presence and obvious acting abilities. Notwithstanding the supporting characters who are a bit on the overacting side, JaFirst’s presence makes this series a must-watch.

Being part of Close Friend and Remember Me has given them enough media mileage to establish JaFirst, and as both have been businessmen in their own ways – Ja runs A Little Tree House, a plant studio where he nurtures potted miniature trees and cacti. First maintains “Noun.Bangkok“, a patisserie selling first-rate French pastries and cakes.

Be Mine SuperStar was adapted from the novel “The Superstar and the Puppy on Set” (พี่พระเอกกับเด็กหมาในกอง) by Orpheus.

Where to watch Be Mine SuperStar?

This new BL series is available on Viki and also at iQIYI where you may find more regional accessibility.

It’s highly recommended to use a VPN especially when watching BL series. There are streaming sites like NetFlix, Viki, GagaOOLala, iQIYI, Hulu, Viu, and many others that may limit broadcast reach due to copyright and other legal stuff. A VPN is safe, reliable, and legal.

Cast of Characters

First Chalongrat
First Chalongrat plays Achi, the undisputed superstar!

First Chalongrat Novsamrong (24) or simply First debuts in acting via “Ruk Tur Hai Noy Long” and appears on Thai TV as part of the “Social Death Vote” cast. In Be Mine SuperStar, he plays Achi, considered an acclaimed film actor, and is the nation’s undisputed superstar. I expect nothing less than fab and glam in terms of styling for Achi. This is going to be such a fun and exciting show!

Ja Pachara
Ja Phachara plays a Film student who interns at a company where Achi is the star!

Ja Phachara Suansri (24) is a pilot, a businessman, and a rising star in the Thai entertainment firmament. He debuts in 2018 for the TV show “Beauty Boy” and plays his first lead role in Close Friend. Be Mine SuperStar is his third collaboration with his erstwhile partner First Chalongrat, and they made up the BL ship JaFirst. He plays the role of Punn, a 3rd-year Film student who works as an intern in a company that manages the career of the country’s superstar, and his crush! Phachara has to look a bit nerdy since he’s playing an impressionable student.

Main Cast (Supporting Characters)

Benjamin Brasier of 2Moon2 is cast as Kevin, a Japanese actor who may work with Achi (First Chalongrat) in a film project. Wayo Peerawat is Title and plays Achi’s best friend and confidant. Other actors playing pivotal roles are Kok Parinya, Phat Thanapat, and Best Tanapoj.

Don’t Say No: The Series

Intense, sweet, full of conflict, rivalry, and most of all high-level romantic performances from the main characters. | Me Mind Y

Raw acting is highlighted with diverse scenes that can launch or deliberately demote actors. In this case, JaFirst made such impressions, it’s only a matter of time before another series, and Be Mine SuperStar appears to be it. The onscreen chemistry is spot on!

We highly recommend PsychoWeird’s Top 19 BL series (2022 Edition). There is plenty of amazing Thai BL series too – Moonlight Chicken, Step by Step, and GMMTV’s 2023 series line-up.
